I was walking by a wall in Torrington, Connecticut, and stopped to zip up my coat. That's when I noticed the weird stuff on the wall. So I went home and brought back my camera.

My daughter was in the process of moving, and this is all she had left in the fridge, arranged just as you see it.

I drove in the road to the housing development, and there were dozens of houses, all with the same roofs, peeking mysteriously over the hill.

I spotted the "Welcome Road" sign on Route 9, just east of Ware, and made a quick U-turn.
