Old Photos Gallery, Page One

The photos below were taken in the first half of the 20th century, most by the Farm Security Adminstration and the Office of War Information, both of which were federal agencies. I am conducting a research project to find out about the lives of the people who were photographed, by identifying the persons, and then finding them or their descendants. These photos I have posted represent all the ones I have worked on so far. Some represent great successes, some descendants declined to be interviewed, and others are still a mystery.
