There are 67 photos of this family on the Library of Congress website. I did some quick research and discovered that Mr. Gaynor died in Northampton, Massachusetts, the city I live in. I have contacted one of his sons, who lives nearby, and he was stunned. He had only one tiny photo of his mother. But the family eventually declined to be interviewed.
